Field Measure

On field measurement days, we come to the project and measure the space. We are not only measuring the walls, but also noting any obstacles such as pipes, outlets, venting, windows, soffits, etc. to make sure these things are discussed and/or accounted for in the design. We measure each wall corner-to-corner at the floor, countertop height, and near the ceiling to catch out-of-square conditions, and verify ceiling height in several spots. This is the most important part of the design process, as for everything builds off of these measurements. For that reason, we typically have two people on site to put eyes on the space.
